Yeah, I know, long time. I guess I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to get in front of our home computer this often...or not that often!
It's definitely been a whirlwind of events and busyness. With everything going on, things seem to be running well. We have our good days and bad, but they all seem to end even if the bad string together into a couple days.
Sparky is doing well. I'd like her to sleep more if she can, but she is obviously busy and has high standards for the house.
I try to make sure I do things to limit the amount of work she has to do on my part, but there's always something I've neglected! I like to cook when/if I get home at a decent hour. Then I try and do the last two feedings before bed.
Sleeping is a very precious commodity. When you can get it, take it!
We had a lot of visitors over the last month, both at the hospital and at home. It's fun to have others be so excited for you. A few like giving you gentle ribbings on how life as you know it has changed.
As tough as it is to leave for work each day, it's nice to know that it will come to a pause, at least for awhile, and we can enjoy much more family time together.
